Honors & Awards

I have received numerous honors and awards in recognition of my scholarly, academic, and professional accomplishments. As a Graduate Research Fellow, I was awarded $10,000 to participate in the intensive 12-week research-immersion Research Experience for Master’s Students (REMS) program at the University of Michigan. During my time in the REMS program, I independently completed a book chapter proposal, conference paper, and conference poster proposal, all of which were accepted for publication and presentation.

In recognition of my demonstrable leadership potential, I have been awarded $11,000 in academic scholarship funding from the American Library Association, District of Columbia Library Association, and Special Libraries Association, DC Chapter. I have also received over $5,000 in professional development funding from the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, the Special Libraries Association, and The Catholic University of America, and over $3,000 in research presentation funding from the Association of Research Libraries, Rutgers University, and The Catholic University of America.
