I’m thrilled to share that I recently accepted a position with Quality Information Partners (QIP), to start in early October. QIP is a woman-owned small business that provides project management, data analysis, report writing, web management and analysis, and technology planning services to the education data community.
As an Education Program Analyst, I’ll primarily be providing project management, writing support, and stakeholder engagement services to the National Center for Education Statistics’ National Forum on Education Statistics. The Forum is a representative body of education practitioners who develop and recommend strategies for building education data systems that support improvements to local, state, and national education systems in the United States.
I look forward to growing and developing as I apply my skills and knowledge to this new position. My responsibilities as an Education Program Analyst are well aligned with my expertise and draw on my experience in LIS education program research and administration. I am particularly grateful to have the support of so many colleague, mentors, and allies in the LIS field as I pursue my passion for facilitating educational improvements.
I am excited to begin this new stage of my career and join a great team of colleagues at QIP. Wish me luck!
